Ingredients:
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup Karo syrup
2 egg whites
Instructions:
Cook sugar, water and syrup until syrup spins a thread about 12-18 inches when held over pan and run out of spoon. (Will be hard ball stage) Beat egg whites until stiff, slowly pour mixture into egg whites, beating constantly. Add nuts if desired and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Drop by teaspoon fulls on waxed paper. (Requires about 15 minutes of beating at high speed)
