  Old Fashioned Brownies

Ingredients:
3/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
5 scant tblsp. cocoa
1 cup nuts
1/2 cup shortening
Instructions:
Cream shortening and sugar, add eggs. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and cocoa. Add to sugar mixture, add nuts and vanilla. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
