  Fresh Apple Cake

Ingredients:
3 eggs
2 cups of sugar
1/2 cup oil
3 cups of flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 cups chopped raw apples
2 cups grated coconut
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup chopped dates


TOPPING:
1 cup brown sugar
1 stcik margarine
1/2 cup milk
Instructions:
Beat eggs and sugar gradually. Add oil. Sift together flour, soda and cinnamon. (Reserve part of flour to dredge the nuts and dates.) Add apples, coconut, pecans and dates. Mixture will be stiff. Put batter in prepared tube pan. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325. Cool before removing from the pan.


TOPPING:
Mix and bring ingredients to boil and pour over cake.
